These awesome folks had a bronze heron statue that they wanted raised off the floor so as to be displayed more prominently. This is what I came up with. We all think it's beautiful.
I carved out a local hardwood tree, added wheels for portability, installed a firepan and propane ring and covered it with gorgeous blue fire glass. A 10' hose attaches to any propane source and Voila! Instant fire. It really creates a mesmerizing ambience. You can see for yourself! click here
This one of a kind piece of art serves as the base for a thick glass top. Kind of a yin/yang undulating wave vibe. Very cool. A very bold presence.
Holy Guacamole, who doesn't love Avocados? Add some whimsy to your life with this one of a kind pair of tables. See the nut on the tall table? Looks just like an avocado seed while not in use, but flip over this vintage Woodcroftery Bowl into its hole and Boom! Instant snack container. Large table made from all new materials, the smaller table was upcycled from an antique solid cedar chest and reused metal table legs.
Key West Life Rocks! Solid Oak extra wide upcycled rocking chair.
Old school heavy, extra wide and one of a kind. Relax the old fashioned way in comfort and style.
I recently made this carrier for my friends Bruce and Susan so they can transport their little ones to school in style. Sure beats the old school bus from my childhood memories.
I enjoyed building this little cutie pie. I made it up as I went along which was fun, until I started to polish the aluminum, ugh.....That took as long as the build. It has a TV, propane oven/stove and check out the bumper! Cool quote by my favorite author. It is presently owned by a member of a vintage tear drop camping group who enjoys roughing it in style. Glamping anyone?
Just for fun..... I got creative with my bicycle for Key West's annual Zombie Bike Parade. Skulls on the frame, creepy guy up front and an ex Pirate passenger guarding the Human Organs cooler. Bright red lights for eyes and a tiny parrot - gotta love Key West!
Vintage Grandfather Clock upcycled into beautiful Wine Cabinet. Holds at least 6 bottles on shelves, more in hidden storage at bottom. Push lights under shelves highlight your fine wines. One of a kind for sure.
It's 5 o'clock somewhere!
